When Lexi and I started making plans for her family’s spring session, she mentioned that she wanted the location to be springy; flowers, green – lots of color! Flower farm? Eh..we might be not able to count on having enough blooms. An orchard? Sure, but we’re going to be past the peak of the blossoms. And I’ve just been dying to do something different – find a new location, change up my “go-t0” shooting habits, etc. So when this adorable greenhouse session showed up in my Pinterest feed…I knew it would be the perfect fit for the Reed’s family session!
I’ve been photographing this crew since little Piper was just 9 months old. Lexi was one of the first to reach out to me when I was still SO new at this and still trying to figure it all out. I love it when past clients become repeat customers: I love reconnecting with them, love to see how their children have grown/changed, but most of all, I love that I’m able to [hopefully] deliver them images that are a little better than what I’ve given them in the past. While it’s hard to see if my work has developed and improved in the day to day…I certainly see it when I glance through my portfolio – and especially when I can put two different sessions of the same family side by side.
A huge THANK YOU to Lovell’s Nursery in Hagerstown for being so willing to let us shoot this session, even with their customers wandering around! Enjoy a few of one of my favorite #LYFamilies!!!
